The Key Takeaways

Here at BLAM!, we are strong advocates for lifelong learning. We believe that in today’s digital era, continuous learning is a necessity for growth. One great way to achieve that is by attending events and conferences like the Traffic & Conversion Summit organised by our partners, DigitalMarketer.

This year’s T&C Summit has been incredible as my team and I have not only learned a lot, but also made meaningful connections with other participants and speakers.

Today I thought I’d share with you some of my favourite takeaways from the T&C Summit 2019 which I believe can help you and your business become more successful.

  • Frank Kern delivered a wonderful presentation talking about Facebook and how we can leverage it to grow our business by making sales and building customers. The key takeaway from Frank’s speech, in my opinion, is not to expect immediate results such as direct sales when we run a Facebook campaign, but rather think about the long-term benefits that occur from a set of promotions. According to him, the majority of your audience will not take immediate action as a result of a single Facebook campaign - instead, you will need to start building trust with these people by giving them value on an ongoing basis. Doing so will start leading to long-term benefits, just as I explain in my recent video.
  • Dean Graziosi gave another simple yet powerful message which absolutely resonates with me, not to be scared to try and sell to somebody! According to Dean, it is our total mission as entrepreneurs to use our passion and enthusiasm to try and get people to buy from us if we think that people will get real value from our products. I couldn’t agree more with this statement, as I feel exactly the same about our BLAM! websites. I know that small businesses are going to benefit greatly from owning our products and therefore I feel it is my obligation to try and sell to as many small businesses as possible in order to help them compete in today’s competitive environment.

These were my two main takeaways from T&C Summit that I wanted to talk to you about. I hope you feel that passion for what you do, know that you are doing good, and start employing these tactics consistently in your business.
