Business Start Up Advice

No two entrepreneurs have the same personality. Everyone is unique and has a different skill set that makes them stand out and be successful. However, there are some key characteristics that, in my view, any new entrepreneur should master.

As you probably know, my team and I have created hundreds of tech entrepreneurs over the last years. The ones who manage to grow and excel right from the first month always possess three main traits:

  1. They are hardworking and dedicated . This might seem obvious, but do you know how many people mistakenly think that becoming an entrepreneur means you get to be lazy and work only whenever you want? Any successful business owner works harder than anyone else in their business and is dedicated to succeed no matter what. This is the number one characteristic I look for in all potential BLAM! Partners.
  2. They are persistent . Starting a business is hard and risky. If you are one of those people who are afraid to fail, then chances are you won’t cope well with becoming an entrepreneur. Success is not achieved overnight, it takes time. Being hardworking over a period of time requires persistence and patience; both key entrepreneurial traits.
  3. They follow a plan of action . Starting a business without a plan is a recipe for failure. All our partners who manage to hit big numbers right from the start always follow a specific plan of action, just as I explain in this video .
Therefore, if you are new in business, make sure to work hard, be persistent, learn from your mistakes, and don’t waste your precious time on things that don’t matter. Make your business your number one priority and I can guarantee you will get the results you want in no time!
